Why Choose Heat Logs?
Enjoy the Highest & Fastest Heat Output
Armed with 10.3 kWh of heating energy per log and a chimney-effect-creating ventilation opening for a fast burn, the Lekto Hardwood Heat Log is the fastest, hottest burning wood UK households have ever seen. They can warm up even the coldest room in minutes and will keep you warm in the bitterest of cold.
The Same Performance. Every. Single. Time.
If you’re switching from traditional firewood, then the first thing you’ll notice about these compressed wood logs is their unparalleled consistency. Every log has the same size, shape, and weight. And it will burn in the same exact way, giving you levels of control you could’ve only dreamed of with traditional logs.
Perfect For All Wood Burning Scenarios
Unlike some other types of compressed logs, heatlogs are perfect for absolutely all wood-burning scenarios. They’re great for log burners and multi-fuel stoves while at the same time working perfectly as chiminea, camping, and fire pit logs. Some customers have even had success using them in their grills and pizza ovens.
Easy to Portion by Hand
Power is nothing if you can’t control it. One of the things that makes Lekto’s offering the best heat logs UK households have ever seen is their easy to portion design. You can break each Heat Log into plenty of small chunks by pressing one heat log against another heat log.
Efficient Burn, Low Ash Production
Hardwood Heat Logs are some of the most efficient burning logs you can find in the UK. Thanks to their ultra-low moisture content and clean burn, they produce virtually no smoke and ash when burned. This means less cleaning and fewer visits from the chimney sweep.
Usage Instructions
After being opened, all Lekto products must be stored in a dry, ventilated space to ensure optimal performance.
Open your appliance’s air controls. Set the air controls of your wood-burning stove or chimney to their most open position.
Start the fire. We recommend arranging your kindling in a criss-cross formation with a Natural Firelighter in the centre.
Prepare your Heat Logs. Break your Heat Log into at least 2-3 pieces. This can be easily done by hand.
Add Heat Logs to the Fire. Once the kindling is burning nicely, add one or two chunks of your Heat Log to the fire.
Lower the air intake. Slightly decrease the airflow to ensure optimal heating and burn time in accordance with your appliance’s instructions.
