Lekto Sawdust Briquettes are an easy-to-use wood fuel that requires minimal tending. Made from hardwood sawdust, these compressed sawdust logs burn hot, produce very little ash, and are compatible with all stove types. Also called RUF briquettes, they’re a great main fuel for beginners and experts alike.

Unlike most compressed sawdust logs, Lekto’s Sawdust Briquettes are super easy to use and require minimal tending. Simply start a fire using the top-down fire-starting method, and they’ll do the rest. Unlike conventional firewood, they can burn for up to 2 hours and have a brick shape that prevents them from rolling as they burn.

All-Natural, Sustainably-Sourced Product

Lekto’s Sawdust RUF Briquettes are made from hardwood sawdust, which is a natural by-product of the sawmill industry. No chemical additives are used during the manufacturing process of our saw dust briquettes. The product is so pure that the ash you get from it can be used to fertilise your garden.

Convenient, Easy to Store Packaging

Lekto’s sawdust logs are packaged in durable cardboard packaging that can be stacked on top of one another to maximize storage convenience. Each box weighs 17 kilogrammes and contains 20 Sawdust Briquettes. This cardboard packaging is fully reusable and recyclable.

Lekto’s sawdust logs are compatible with all wood-burning appliances. So whether you use a wood burner, multi-fuel stove, sheltered fire pit, chimineas, wood-burning stove, conventional log burner, or any other type of wood-burning appliance, you can be sure that our RUF logs will be a perfect fit for it.

Usage Instructions

After being opened, all Lekto products must be stored in a dry, ventilated space to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Open the air vents. Set the air controls of your wood-burning appliance to their most open position in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Build your fire. We recommend using the top-down method. Place your Sawdust Briquettes at the bottom, then add your Kindling and Natural Firelighters on top.
  3. Start your fire. Use a match or a lighter to set fire to your Natural Firelighter. It will set your kindling on fire, which will, in turn, light your Sawdust Briquettes.
  4. Reduce the airflow. When the Sawdust Briquettes are burning nicely, close the air controls to ensure optimal heating and burn time.

Possibility of Split Deliveries

Please note that DPD may split your order into several parts and deliver them separately. This is due to the way their delivery systems handle heavy shipments. The remaining part of the delivery usually arrives within one to three days of the first one.
