What are they made of?
Our night briquettes are made of 100% pure, sustainably sourced softwood bark. The don’t contain any additives, glues, or other types of harmful chemicals, making them a 100% natural product that is environmentally friendly and safe for slow, long burns.
How are they different from other wood fuels?
The difference is in the very core of our night briquettes: the material.
Night briquettes are the only wood fuel product that is made from densely compressed softwood bark, which is naturally able to burn for a long time, longer than any other wood fuel available on the market.
Our night briquettes come in clean 20kg mini packs, designed to optimize storage capacity and never be in the way – even if you have limited space in your home!
Can they be used with other wood fuels?
Of course they can! We recommend using our night briquettes after you have put on firewood or heat logs, so when the fire starts to go out and the vivid red embers start to appear, all you have to do is put a couple of night briquettes on, sit back, and enjoy the heat!
In fact, we only recommend using 2-3 night briquettes on a pre-heated stove, preferably to complement our Hardwood Heat Logs as the fire starts to die out. The dense nature of softwood bark prevents it from catching fire too easily, but once it starts burning, you won’t have to tend to it all – moving or rearranging the briquettes after they are put on the stove will actually shorten their burning time!
For best results and longer burns, make sure you store Lekto Night Briquettes in a dry place.
